This position will include taking care of Inn guest and restaurant guests needs and issues.
This will potentially be a leadership role for the right candidate.
The successful candidate should be outgoing and friendly with a gregarious personality and a natural talent for customer service.
Responsibilities and Duties Welcome, register, and assign rooms and issue room keys or cards to the guests.
Interact with the restaurant, seating guests, making reservations Provide information about services available in the hotel and in the community.
Verify customers' credit and establish how the customer will pay for the accommodation.
Promote and sell guest rooms.
They review accounts of the guests who signs out.
They receive payment for accounts.
They advise housekeeping which rooms have been vacated and are ready for cleaning.
They keep an inventory of rooms reservations They respond to reservation inquiries Answer telephones and take messages Work with social media Take dinner reservations and sometimes work as the host for the restaurant They deal with customer complaints or refer dissatisfied customers to a manager.
Qualifications and Skills Associate degree preferred.
1 year experience preferred but will train the right person.
